David D. Kline, CFP®

The newest member of our team is David D. Kline, CFP®.  A true Pittsburgher, through and through, he was born and raised just minutes from the Pittsburgh International Airport.  He was educated at the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Finance (Summa Cum Laude too!!) and he comes to The Speakman Financial Group from BNY Mellon’s Wealth Management division. 

Like most Pittsburghers, (or at least those with our firm!) he approaches each day with enthusiasm and positivity and sees financial advising as a partnership.  “It isn’t a relationship surrounding money, rather it’s the other facets of our lives for which the money serves the purpose.”  Whether the conversation is about the stock market, inflation rates, a grandchild’s soccer game, or another woeful season for the Pirates, Dave is eager to talk about what matters most to YOU.

Dave and his wife, Ashley, settled in the Castle Shannon area with dog, Juno, along with Toby and Sully the cats.  In 2023, they welcomed their daughter, Delilah, who now runs the show! You can’t be a true Pittsburgher without enjoying our sports teams, and yes, just as he converted Ashley from a Packers fan to a Steelers fan, there is every indication Delilah will be cheering on the home team too.  Second to being a new dad, Dave also enjoys playing soccer and golf and has developed a love for the arts, particularly live musical theater.  He feels blessed to live in a city dedicated to both its sports teams and cultural activities.
