Karen (pronounced ‘Car-in’) joined SFG in 2015. Her New Zealand accent is hard to miss, even after 45+ years in the states. She came on board as Don’s personal assistant, but her role has evolved to include more client interactions with scheduling advisor and client meetings, keeping client address information up to date, and other behind the scenes duties. You may have met her on visits to the office or in phone conversations, but if not, she’s happy to meet you! She enjoys offering hospitality to all.
She especially delights in her grandchildren, whether it be spending time with her three local grandsons, or Face Timing with her granddaughter who lives out of town. Of all the titles we could give her, “Nana” is her hands down favorite! When the Pittsburgh weather cooperates, you will find her and husband, Tom, out and about with friends, enjoying the sunshine on their Harley.
